The Passeier Valley and its activities
Enjoy cycling tours or walks along the family-friendly Passeier cycling path (20 km) that leads you through picturesque apple orchards all the way to Meran. You might be able to watch some fly-fishing along the Passer river or a brave group in a rafting boat shooting down the white-water.
The shadows that might appear above your heads are not birds of prey, but more likely para-gliders coming down to the valley from the Hirzer mountain.
The Hirzer railway facility (Saltaus valley terminal), is only a few minutes from the Riederhof. This lift facility will transport you right up to the Prenn middle terminal (1,404 metres) or the Klammeben mountain terminal (1,980 metres). From there, you can easily reach the Hirz high plateau with the largest Alpine rose area in South Tyrol.
There are sports facilities galore in the Passeier Valley. Close to our hotel, you can find the following:
Golf, tennis, swimming, horse-riding, para-gliding, football, bowling, climbing, darts, running, Nordic Walking, cycling, fishing, fly-fishing, shooting, volleyball, beach volleyball, rafting and much more.
